The guitar simulator's tuning is highly customizable, allowing users to adjust it from F# (contra octave) to B (3 line octave), with options for different sounds such as acoustic steel, electric distortion, and nylon.

Guitar Note Trainer features six distinct modes:

Explorer Mode allows users to display or hide notes on the fretboard or its diagram. It offers various adjustable filters and highlighting options and enables users to interact with the fretboard of the guitar simulator.

Trainer Mode comprises several key features:

• A customizable profile focusing on specific areas and notes of the fretboard.
• The trainer can generate nine types of questions to cover the scope of note identification.
• Comprehensive statistics tracking for individual notes as well as totals for the trainer profile.
• The ability to create new trainer profiles based on identified trouble spots in the statistics.

Practicum Mode facilitates the recognition of requested notes on a real instrument and can be set to an auto-answering mode. This dual approach reinforces both note recollection and finger memory. Its features include:

• A customizable practicum profile defined by specific areas and notes of focus on the fretboard.
• The generation of seven types of questions for effective note identification within this mode.
• Thorough statistics tracking for each note, alongside totals for the practicum profile.
• The possibility of creating new practicum profiles targeting trouble areas based on statistics.

Note: Microphone access must be enabled for this mode to function effectively in recognizing real instrument notes.

Game Mode presents a dynamic approach to testing knowledge and learning fretboard notes through engaging play.

Tuner Mode functions as a comprehensive guitar tuner (45-2034 Hz). It visually displays all recognized note positions on the fretboard alongside their frequencies and staff notation.

Theory Mode provides foundational knowledge on musical notes along with useful charts and hints designed to facilitate the learning process related to fretboard notes.

The Guitar Note Trainer Demo is a fully functional version; however, it restricts note visibility and question generation to only the first four frets.
